  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  2. Prepare Dough:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated cheese, flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
    • Mix until a sticky dough forms. Note: The dough will be very sticky, but do not add extra flour.
  3. Shape Scones:

    • Form the dough into balls of your desired size and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the scones and the efficiency of your oven. The scones should be slightly soft due to the amount of cheese.
  5. Cool:

    • Once baked, remove the scones from the oven and let them cool on a cooling rack.
  6. Toast and Serve:

    • To serve, cut the scones in half and toast them in a pan with butter until crisp.
    • Enjoy the scones warm!
